Add Chappe to Codex
Updated November 2, 2026 by Théo Nairi.
In a terminal, add Chappe:
codex mcp add chappe --url https://chappe.org/mcpYour browser opens: enter your email, the code you get, then allow it. If it does not open, run:
codex mcp login chappeStart Codex and type /mcp to check that chappe is connected.
Then, in a new chat, say:
"Open my Chappe inbox"Good to know
- Prefer the file? Add a [mcp_servers.chappe] table with url = "https://chappe.org/mcp" to ~/.codex/config.toml, then run codex mcp login chappe.
- The Codex app and the IDE extension share this setup: Chappe shows there too.
