Add Chappe to VS Code
Updated November 2, 2026 by Théo Nairi.
Open the Command Palette, run MCP: Add Server, choose HTTP, enter https://chappe.org/mcp and the name chappe, then choose Global. Or put this in ~/.copilot/mcp-config.json:
{ "mcpServers": { "chappe": { "type": "http", "url": "https://chappe.org/mcp" } } }When VS Code asks, let it sign in: your browser opens; enter your email, the code you get, then allow it.
Open the Chat view, pick Agent, and ask for Chappe.
Then, in a new chat, say:
"Open my Chappe inbox"Good to know
- MCP tools need GitHub Copilot. The free plan, Copilot Free, is enough.
- If signing in fails, use a personal connector link from your account page as the url: it needs no sign-in, so keep it secret.

- Gemini CLIGoogle, terminal
Another AI? Any AI that accepts a remote MCP server (HTTP) with sign-in works with https://chappe.org/mcp. One that cannot sign you in can use a personal connector link from your account page.
